How to look up dirt bike vin numbers?

I have a 125cc 4-stroke dirt bike and i don't know anything more about it, id like to know the year/make/model and everything else, any info would be greatly appreciated
what i know: 125cc, Honda, 4-stroke, electric and kick start (12 volt)

Find the VIN on the frame and then do a Google search.

Dirt bike VINs aren't widely posted.
Best to take the VIN into a Honda dealer.
Walk up to the parts counter and say you want to buy parts for your bike.
The parts personal will be able to identify your model by the VIN.

Take a picture and post a link to it.
Someone will be able to identify it and give you a close idea to use
as a reference point.
Then bring the VIN to an authorized Honda dealer.
Have a good day foryou!

  • Running a VIN check on a dirt bike in Australia? So I was considering running a VIN check on my dirt bike, which is a 00' Honda Cr250 (un-registerable). I'm in Australia and I'm not sure where to go to get this check done as this bike would not have any registration history. Ideas? Help? Much appreciated as i'm just trying to find out my bikes past & possibly the first owner.
  • Motorcycle Vin Short, how to clear vin check? I have a 1977 Honda and the vin is not 17 digits due to it being pre 1981 so it won't clear a vin check. Any way around this?
