I have a honda 50cc elite mophed/scooter and want to know what i need to make it street legal?

To make a street legal you should try 50cc scooter.

I thought all 50cc could be ridden on the street. As long as you have a speedo and mirrors.

Check with your DMV. It probably is already street legal, though some states have an inspection process looking at brakes, horn, headlight etc. Honda Elite was sold as a street scooter (as opposed to a dirt bike) so you probably only need to register it and get a license plate at your DMV.
