Motorcycle bad ground on battery or more serious issue?

So i bought this bike (94 honda magna) last year and ran great until now. Its my only vehicle at the momebt as my truck i'm in process of replacing trannsmission.so i hadda jump bike battery today, first time ever, and i noticed the terminal litterally broken in half and cable is hanging on by a sliver.terminal is built in battery so can really fix unless i solder or something but seem dangerous.decide to ride down to store to get new battery, scince this one real anyway.so i pop start bike and on my way. I was driving the 14 miles and while driving bike just shuts off while moving. I start it again and continue on my way. I stop on way to fill up gas, turn bike off and fill up. Just about to leave when battery dead again. Try pop starting, it starts but NO power. I floor gas and only getting 2000 rpm, its backfiring and sounds like **** then dies. Try pop starting over and over but no luck. They are brand new spark plugs, good gas, also i noticed while driving (may of been car in front of me i don't know) a rotten egg smell. But could bad ground on battery cause all this? I get hard to start but why extreme loss of power? Hopefully new battery tommorow will help and save me hassle of dealing with tow.

Running with the screwed up batt. May have screwed up your alternator on the way to the store. Hope not.
Then the resulting low voltage could cause your low rpm and power you experienced. Hopefully, new batt will solve the problems.

Jesus Christ, can you write in English. Your ground terminal is obviously effed up. FIX IT!

  • Is a squeaking noise when you let off the brake pedal in your car a serious problem? Whenever I let off the brake pedal in my Honda, I hear a squeak noise. Is this something that likely just needs to be lubricated/cleaned on the brake mechanism, or is it signs of a more serious problem? It is not the brake pads; those have been replaced recently. Is this something I need fixed As soon as possible, (possible brake failure) or is it something that just simple (not serious ) maintenance?
  • Loud noise in the morning. Is this serious? When I start my car in the morning there's a loud noise coming from under the hood. Only way I can describe the noise is like if you were to put a paper sheet in a fan. Only happens in the morning for a minute or so. This is a newer Honda Civic with 70k miles. Only services done on car are oil/filter changes. Not a screech. More like chain rattling. Only happens in morning.
  • Bad wire ground in head unit? My Kenwood x597 head unit is causing distortion in my 2010 Honda Civic with aftermarket speakers. When the system is running, i get a low buzzing sound that is evident of a bad ground. I've made a very good ground but i still get some distortion. All distortion instantly disappears when I turn on the headlights or brightlights. This makes no sense to me, it seems to be a too much power or bad ground issue.
  • What percent of the overall value can I get from a car with serious mechanical problems? I have a 2003 Honda Accord, and I really need to look into getting rid of it. Unfortunately, I bought the car (used) a few years ago ignorant to the fact that it burns oil. This is a problem that I have tried to rectify, but there's simply no solution but to keep adding oil every few days. I keep the car in tip-top condition, but I really do not think I will be able to get much for it in the private party market. Out of a total asking price, what percentage of the value should I ask for?
