What types of cars do Senior Citizens like to drive? - 1
Added (1). I have a Honda and a Toyota.
I was just curious as to what cars Seniors like to drive.
A reliable four wheel drive with some storage room. I drive a Subaru Forrester.
I live in Michigan. My husband retired from Ford Motor Company after 31 years. We only drive American cars. We have an F-150 and Mustang.
Whatever they feel comfortable with.
We drive an SUV, we find it more reliable and higher off the ground for us for our needs.
I own a Nissan Patrol, 9 passenger diesel powered 4 wheel drive, and a Toyota Corolla 4 dr Sport. Haven't driven myself in years.
None its A Motorcyle for me.
I love my 16 year old Honda Civic; it will probably go for another ten years.
The same car I have always liked to drive.
Reliable and easy to maintain vehicles.
The car I had the most fun with was my 1972 VW Beetle. Right now I'm driving a 1992 Olds 88. It's ugly but it gets me around.
A topless sports car would be nice. I used to have a Fiat Spyder and that was lots of fun. A little bit dangerous because it was so lightweight (unlike the bigger and more solid Fiat Spider), but very zippy.
- Your favorite types of cars? I've always been into Japanese or JDM cars. Although I can't stand Hondas (or other cars) with non-performance oriented, economy engines that have coffee cup exhausts. They sound way too raspy. I like deep sounding exhausts on four-bangers and even V6s (of course V8s as well.) But yes, for the most part I like Japanese performance cars. My all time favourite has to be the Nissan 300ZX. What about you? (sorry if I offended anyone)
- Why is it that some husbands let their wives drive luxury cars while they drive ordinary cars? I've been observing some of my neighbors (one of them is a stay at home mom) and the husbands drive ordinary cars like Honda Accord or Honda Pilot. But the wives tend to drive luxury cars like Acura TSX or Acura RDX (some form of luxury car). What is the reason for this? Why do wives get to drive luxury cars while the husband drives ordinary car? I should say some of them. Its not a problem though but was only curious. The neighbors are Asians actually.
- Types of suv's that can do what a pickup can? I'm selling my truck to get an suv. I don't use the truck alot, but I still use it enough where I would like a suv that can do double duty when I need it to. I'm looking at older suv's with a top budget of $7,000. My list includes the Xterra, 4runner, pilot, murano, and even a Honda Element. My criteria is that the suv's seats fold flat and can fit appliances, like a fridge or washing machine.
- Types of motorcycles like Suzuki Marauder / Honda Shadow / Sportster? I'm pretty much only familiar with sport bikes. I like the Marauder and Shadow and Sportster styles of bikes. Any other suggestions similar to them?
