2004 Honda Accord radio will not switch to the CD mode?
We just got our 2004 Honda Accord, and one thing that I noticed is that the radio will not change to the CD mode. The regular FM/AM radio works fine, and the display works too. There's a button labeled AUX/CD, and it is not responsive. All it does is change to the satellite radio. I've tried to long press all of the buttons, and nothing works. Does anyone know what the problem would be? Or any way to fix it?
Do you have a CD in the radio when you try the button? There must be a disk in for the radio to switch over.
If you do not have an owner's manual, you can download one for free on line.
- Prius: Can someone explain the power usage meter & specific difference between power mode and Eco mode? My brother just got me a Prius to replace my old beater Honda and I'm having difficulty understanding the power usage meter (meter on dash with "Charge-Eco-Power") and the difference in the Eco & Power modes. I do understand the charge bit on the meter.
- Would a 4 Cylinder Car in Sport Mode be able to accelerate faster than a V6 car in ECO mode? Take the Honda CRV Turbo at 190 horse power 4 cylinder in Sport Mode vs the Oddysey with 285 Horsepower on ECO with a V6.
- Replaced my ignition switch but lost the key to that replacement ignition switch? I just replaced the ignition switch in my 2003 honda accord from another used 03 accord. The replacement switch obviously came with it's key. However my mechanic apparently lost the key to the replacement switch and now I'm in a rut. Not sure what to do. What are my options?
- In a Honda Accord does the sports mode gear still shift up automatically? I own a Honda Accord 2013. I've done some research and have figured out that the sports mode increases your acceleration. I've been messing with it, and the RPM's get up to 6000, and almost into the red. I don't want to blow out my engine or anything. I was just wondering does it still shift automatically, and is it safe to max out in sports mode for a decent amount of time.
