2014 Kia Optima, Hyundai Sonata, or Honda Accord?

Which one is more gas efficient, safer in accidents, could require lower insurance costs, and is best for a first time driver (who isn't a teenager). Also, which one's more fun to drive? If there' anything else that differentiates one car from the rest, please let me know.

Hyundai & KIA are the same company, & can't hold a candle to a Honda in reliability.

All three models are very good quality, reliable, fuel efficient, and safe. If your are looking at comparable models with the same four cylinder engines the fuel economy rating are extremely similar. Also, the Kia and Sonata are built on the same frame and share many of the same components. Other than design, they are not wildly different. Which one is more fun to drive? The edge might go to the Accord. The one knock that both the Sonata and Optima have been given is the fact their steering is a bit numb. However, I personally like the overall design of the Optima. It's a beautiful automobile. But Annette, go out at test drive all three. Once you do you will know.
