Anybody having issues with the steering wheel on their new 2018 Honda Accord?

Whenever I go past 50 mph the steering wheel feels as if it's sticking. Almost as if their were some gum or a weak magnet holding it in place. You have to do a very small jerk to get it moving again but once you let it go it get stuck again. It's very annoying and something I wouldn't expect to have on a car of this new.

Added (1). I'm trying to contact the sales rep at some honda dealerships right now but nobody is answering. They might be on a very early and long lunch break. Hmm…

Go back to the dealer

This sounds like a serious issue that could affect your ability to drive the car safely at normal speeds. You MUST schedule an inspection at the Service (NOT Sales) department of your Honda dealer, to have them look at the problem under warranty. Be persistent and don't be denied by "corporate policy" or negative response to your phone calls; go up the chain of command to management or the Honda area/regional representative until you achieve satisfaction.

hmm is right. You should be contacting the service department at the ONE dealership you bought it from

on a side note, the new accords are having a lot of problems right out of the factory including the steering

The electric power steering is what is doing it. Does the car have any lane guidance features that are turned on that you just don't like the feel of? If not, find out if that it is acting the way Honda designed it to.

Do not waste your time. Go to the dealer. Tell the manager to drive it when they say it is "normal".

CHECK FOR RECALLS, As soon as possible! There have been some reported recently.

Hi so they have fitted the progressive steering to the honda as well. It's not what you think it is as the steering wheel is not connected directly to the steering rack. They use servomechanisms now so it is electrical.
