I have a 1994 honda shadow vlx 600. I've been having charging issues?
Could someone have put the positive and negative wires that connect to the battery on the wrong sides? All the batteries online look the same as this one and the cover on the bike only lets you slide it in one way (where the pos is on the right and the neg is on the left).
No, if you hooked it up wrong there would be smoke and fire and not all batteries are the same just because the look alike.

Guessing it isn't connected but can't take the bolts off from the back to get to the electrical to the tail light and not coming off. - Honda shadow VLX 600 2007 with under 10000 miles:? Start in mourning sit for about 8 hours then no start. New battery start once run about 30 minutes sit about 1 hour no start again. Try jump nothing!
