Can I put sized 195/65R15 tires on the front of my 2000 honda accord lx coupe V6 if the back tires are 205?

I need new tires and I already have a 195 and it would save me so much more money if I could just go buy another one, but I don't want to do it if it's going to be detrimental to my car overall. The back tires are still the stock size, I'd only be changing the front tires.

Sorry Jeremy, I stand corrected. 205/65-15 is indeed your needed size for the V6 option on a LX Coupe. The 195/65-15 size is for the four banger. The reason Honda recommends the wider 205 tire is for the increased load carrying capability of the heavier V6 model. Going with the narrower 195 tire is not recommended. Only consider it if the speed rating and load index of the 195 tire is equal to that of the 205 tire.

195/65-15 is the original equipment size for your '00 Accord LX Coupe. It's the rear set that is an alternative size.

Put the correct size 205/65-15s on the front and put the 195/65-15 on the rear and you will be ok

Thats fine, as long as you keep the same sizes together.
