Car key won't unlock car, but will lock and open trunk?

Car key won't unlock car, but will lock and open trunk?! Help?

Added (1). Basically my car key will not open my car currently, its a 2004 honda accord. However the key will lock the car making the locking noise and the open trunk button will work fine. When i go to press unlock it does nothing and the back headlights blink twice then stop. What in gods name is going on? It seems that the batteries are fine as the lock mechanism and trunk opening mechanism are in check.

Re program the key

If it works at all, but the unlock button doesn't work, it is likely the button itself is stuck. It is probably less expensive, and easier to get a replacement key than to fix the current key. The car will need reprogrammed for the new key.
