Could I convert my 1995 Honda accord 2.2l 4cyl engine to a 2.7l 6cyl engine?
Added (1). I would like to know if it can be done and what it would take to do so.
Added (2). What I mean is what would I have to do to make a 2.7L engine fit a car designed for 2.2L engines
No you can't convert a 4cyl into a 6cyl. You would need to replace the 4 with a 6. No conversion of the 4 is possible.
First place I would look is state laws. I know some states won't allow you to change the cylinder count on certain aged cars. Now if it is ok then you pretty much need a donor car on that is wrecked because you will basically need to remove everything from that donor to put on the other car. Engine, transmission, cooling system, exhaust, computer, wiring harness, and fuel system. So it is possible but not practical. By the time you are done you probably would have spent enough money and time just to buy a v6 car.
It would cost at least twice the cost of buying a later 6 cylinder car

- Supercharger on a 2002 Honda Accord 5 speed 4cyl 0 to 60 time? Thinking about putting a supercharger in my 2002 Honda Accord 4 cylinder. If the 0 to 60 time is about 9 sec now what can I expect after? It has only 40000 miles it can it handle a supercharger. And how many more miles can I expect out of it? Money's not an issue. And don't want another car.
