Good cars for a college student that arent but ugly?
So, I pretty much find something to hate about all cars haha.
Civic si… Is still a civic and looks like an egg
Scion tc… Looks like a veloster (need I say more)
Honda Accord… Actually not bad as long as it's a coupe
Mitsubishi Lancer… I love the looks but am skeptical on reliability
Toyota Tacoma… I can use the bed to take my Yamaha to the bike track but that's about it
Toyota Camry… Too many old people drive it
Toyota Corolla… Reliable, but screams chick car
Mazda 3… Also a chick car
Can someone give me an idea of any car (even the ones I listed) that financially make sense to drop 10k on?
I'm pretty much at the point that I'm just going to buy a mid 90's s10.
Those cars that you dislike so much are pretty much all the good cars for a college student. You pretty much crossed out just about every good car that would actually help you out financially.
The only ones that you haven't crossed out are the Nissan Altima/Maxima, the Chevy Cruze/Sonic/Impala, or the Ford Fusion/Focus/Taurus.
But ugly cars are usually cheaper and that is just what a struggling student needs. CHEAPER.
Go with a Honda Accord or Civic 4 cylinder. You get great reliability with good gas mileage. My personal choice would be a Mazda 6 as I love the look and it's not ugly at all. But chick cars are hard to avoid, that's where the Civic si comes in. Although it may not look right, it's what's under the hood that counts. Save the manuals.
Dude, I don't know where you go to college, but everybody typically drives whatever POS they can afford to. Anything Honda with a 4 cylinder and anything Toyota will likely give you good service for minimal outlay. BTW, any small or midsize sedan technically screams "chick car". Sorry. If you want something macho, buy a truck. Granted, trucks are expensive on gas, but they typically run a very long time with very few repairs. Honestly, Corolla, Camry, Accord, and Civic are the best options.
Try a 2000 mercury sable. They are reliable and cheap and look fantastic…
Toyota celica, Scion Tc, Vovlo s60,…

Nissan altima or maxima
Polo
VW polo.
Also if you're going to be so picky about what it looks like you aren't going to find a car you like which isn't cheap. It's not about what it looks like it's about performance mpg, cost and insurance.
Toyota Corolla
Subaru Impreza
Mazda 6
First all vehicles can be driven by anyone and don't let that make your decision. I know what you mean. For example a Mercury Grand Marquis (big, full size sedan) is stereotyped as an old persons car but anyone can drive one. Don't let that make up your decision or the looks of the vehicle. You want a vehicle that fits your needs and is reliable. Since you have a bike you would like to haul around a pick up truck or SUV is the way to go. Basically whatever you get should be basic, reliable, and one you can afford.
