Honda Accord 2.2 Dtec clutch?

I have ta 2009 honda accord 2.2 dtec engine manual. It have 98k miles rights now. The clutch pedal is making a squeaky noise when releasing it slowly and lately its doing it more often. My mechanic put some silicone spray but id did work, also when i'm shifting the gears are not that soft like they used to be. Do i need to change clutch kit? What does the clutch kit do exactly? Found one with a good price and thought maybe i replace it. I'm asking cause i'm don't know much about mechanical.

A clutch kit usually includes a pressure plate, clutch disc, throw out bearing, and pilot shaft bearing. Not a clutch pedal. These parts are installed between the engine and transmission. If you are hearing a noise coming from inside of the car it is likely a bushing that the clutch pedal pivots on. This clutch is hydraulically operated by a master cylinder on the engine side of the firewall. If you are noticing a variation in clutch operation check the reservoir for the clutch master cylinder (refer to owner's manual). If it is losing fluid it is most likely from the slave cylinder since that is where any moisture in the system collects.
