How to repair a rounded bolt head on rear brake caliper in a tight space? 1996 Honda Accord?

I was replacing by brake pads on my 1996 Honda Accord when I noticed the top bolt on the caliper was rounded off. It is a 12mm bolt and there's little to no space to deal with this. I'm not sure how to get it off since it is in such a tight spot with no room to really do much. Any suggestions on how to remove this stubborn thing?

Go to harbor freight or auto zone and get ask for the special set of sockets designed to remove these stripped bolts

Follow Ben's advice. Here is a sample of what they look like:

Google knows

You can do one of three things, file the bolt to a smaller size, hammer a smaller preferably an impact socket onto the bolt or you can go to the autozone and buy their wrench that grips rounded off bolts.

The bolt is obviously frozen so go with the answer that says drive the next smaller size socket on it. Preferably a 6 point standard size socket.

Use a file to put a slot in it… Then use a flat blade screwdriver or something to turn it out. If you have enough room you can use a dremel or grinder instead of the file.
