I have a 98 honda accord automatic? - 1
I went for an oil change and the guy told me i had to replace my flywheel i did notice some knocking sound before the oil change on my car? What is the purpose of this and what if i continue to drive my car with this knocking sound coming from my car? How much should this repair cost?
The flywheel is a big disk in the engine that spins on the end of the crankshaft, it smooths the engines momentum, it is the point where your clutch attaches the engine to the gearbox. It is a very important part of the engine, if the car is a modern diesel this will be a duel mass flywheel which is common failure that causes a knocking rattling noise. I would advise getting replace as soon as practical, they should change the clutch and release bearing at the same time. As for cost they vary alot especially if a Duel mass flywheel.
Because its not a cheap fix a second opinion would be wise, it could be from the other end of the crank, just a crankshaft pulley.
- What cars have automatic rerouting navigation systems? Does anyone know any cars preferably 2005-2009 that have good navi system? I know you can get the ones from wal-mart but they're not the same as factory installed ones. They freeze and they fail. I know acura/honda make good obes but I'm not sure which ones reeoute if you miss an exit. Does anyone know?
- Honda Amaze automatic or Hyundai Xcent automatic? Which would be better purely in terms of performance, acceleration, smooth and fast gearshifts and handling, i mean the better drivers car. I know hondas transmission and engines are great, but is the hyundai as good too? Even though the xcent has only 4 gears, i.e. 1 less than the amaze, it has tiptronic, would this by any chance improve the driving experience? I sadly don't have the opportunity to test drive these cars.
