Is it possible to change engine of honda accord vtec '97 to civic '97?

Yup, requires some work. Bit of hodge-podging parts from a few different cars.

Possible, yes, but not very easily. Too many mods and parts swaps are required to make it economical.

Anything is possible, but it depends on which Accord engine. I believe that particular year Accord came with several flavours including a few different four cylinder engines (F22, H22, F23), and the V6 (J32) engines. Each engine will require certain modifications to be done to your current car to get them to work. The easier ones would be the four cylinder engines since they more than likely have premade kits (mounts, ecu plug and play, etc.) to get them in there. The V6 will be a little more challenging to put in there, which this would include everything stated above (minus them not having premade kits), and also the hood/engine clearance. The four cylinders don't necessarily have that problem since they are relatively close in size and mounting points to the original single cam engine in the 97 civic. It is up to you to choose, it depends on what you are looking to do to your car (ie: performance/racing, daily driving, etc.).

Hi only if you have the ECU as well.
