Is it possible to put a small block Mustang motor in a 94 Honda Accord?
I had this idea since I was I'm grade school. I know that it can't be impossible. And I know that it will be costly. But that is what I wasn't to have built.
Why not, if you have the tools to build it. A local guy put a Chevy 427 Big block in the back of a Volkswagen. Another put one in a Van.
I always considered a Big block in a Chrysler PT Cruiser. They look allot like a '48 Anglia I owned, and raced.

Anything can be done as long as you have the tools, time, and talent. You'd need a plasma cutter or cutting torch and a welder to get the big parts done. The electrical part of it would be the biggest pain, unless you went with a carburetor. If you're good at locating parts, it might not even cost that much.
- Where on the engine block would I put a thermometer for a quadbike? I have a Honda 350D and the fan thermostat has broken, rather than spending money replacing the unit I'm looking to wire the fan into a switch. I have also purchased a digital thermometer which I plan to wire in, but I need to place the receiver on the engine block, but which part do I connect it to, top end, or radiator and if so top of the radiator or bottom? (oil cooled).
- How long can a small outboard motor be submerged in fresh water before it's not salvageable? Over the weekend we recovered a HONDA outboard motor that fell off a fishing boat last September. It's since been power washed and the carburetor has been removed along with all internal water. Is it worth taking to a repair shop?
- If in the owners manual it says I should use 5W-20 motor oil, can I use 10W-40 motor oil instead? I have a 2009 Honda Fit. I just recently bought 10W-40 and when I got home to put oil in the manual said 5W-20. What's the difference? And is it okay if I still use the 10W-40?
- Is it possible to swap a d16a sohc long block into a 1998 Honda Civic Dx coupe? My d16y7 engine got hydrolocked and I hace not yet found another engine so I plan to swap a d16a engine instead. Is it possible? What do I need?
