Just replaced break switch on a 93 accord now pedal gets stiff after a few miles of driving?
Just replaced break switch on a 1993 honda accord. Now after driving 3-5 miles break pedal gets stiff and if you drive further there's smoke from the right front side of car.
Readjust the brake light switch because it is applying the brakes now. Most times just pulling up on the pedal will adjust it.
First best answer to Jerry. If the pedal is depressed even a tiny bit the Honda brake system begins to lock on. See the source. It talks about the adjustment of the pushrod but the slight pedal depression is doing the very same thing.
It's spelled "brake"- not knowing the difference between "break" and "brake" makes you look stupid. Btw
- Why did my 2003 Honda Pilot engine just died while i was driving around 30-40 miles per hour? It virbrates every now and then when i hit 35-40 miles really bad of the whole car and I also have a check engine light and vtm-4 light on. - My Honda S2000 Clutch pedal thumps as I press down on it as if it gets stuck for a quick second. Why? I think it got worse, not when I try to Press all the way down on the gas on the free way to go fast, the RPMs shoot way faster and the MPH moves very very slowly? Any ideas?
- I rebuilt my honda eu3000is carb, and now it smoke a few minutes after starting. It has only 50 hours or so? I cleaned out some green slime from the carb bowl, and cleaned out the main jet. Then, put it all back together. Did I miss something in the re-assembly? It runs good, just smokes.
