Should i buy an oem honda part or is it worth the risk to buy aftermarket?
I need a vehicle speed sensor for my 94 accord and i noticed aftermarket prices for this part are much cheaper but is it worth the risk or should I buy the "dorman" part?
Yes
When it comes to sensors I try to buy OEM. Had too many problems with aftermarket, and some I've had terrible luck with Dorman products. I only use them when customer absolutely can't afford OEM
The car is 23 years old you don't drive such an old car because your rich do you? Buy the cheap after market part and hope it lasts longer than you own the car for you.
Dorman is junk and not OEM. Buy the Honda part if you can afford it, anything else is a gamble but if you're strapped for cash it's worth a try.
On a 20+ year old car I would be quite comfortable using the aftermarket part, but I would use a reputable brand, not just the ultra-cheap chinese copy
Input or output speed sensor?
- I need to find a part for my Honda ex1000 generator. I can't seem to find a part for a reasonable price or even the right part I have a Honda Generator and I need to buy a carburetor. I can find a lot of different ones online but I only find One for the Model I have. It is 80 bucks. I see a lot that look the same and I would like to know how to find one that is cheaper. I have looked for hours and can't find one that is cheap like the others. The part number is 16100-ZC0-015. Does anyone know how I can find a variety to choose from or do I need to get the honda brand carb?
- Do I need to buy genuine Honda OEM air filters? I want to save money and replace them myself - is there a good generic or store brand, or am I better off buying genuine Honda parts online for a discount?
- What is this car part called? (Honda civic drivers should know)? I need this part for my civic of course mine doesn't have one and it cause the carb to flood but i found this picture online this is what i need, but i don't know the name of the part.
- Should I risk driving to work this Saturday? I heard from someone that there's a chance of it snowing where I live this upcoming Saturday. I have a 2003 Honda Civic and I have no experience driving in neither snow nor ice. I can drive well in the rain, but have never driven in snow/ice. Should I risk driving to work or should I play it safe and stay home and call in (which means say I can't come into work)?
