Should i buy the 4 Cylinder or 6 cylinder Honda Accord 2007?
I'm tempted to purchase the 6 cylinder model but i've heard it's not as reliable as the 4 cylinder with their transmission problems. Is this true.
Also what mpg do the 6 cylinder typically get. I know it differs from each driver.
4 cylinder is good enough i have a 2010 accord and had no issues with it at all
really good on gas
2004 was the last year with major transmission problems, although some 2005 models had trouble. By 2007 Honda finally had control of the transmissions and the 2006-2007 model years were some of the best Accords of the decade. In 2008 Honda got weird with brake proportioning and the rear brakes wore many times faster than they should have.
The EPA rates the 4 cylinder models at 25 mpg combined; the 6 cylinder models at 21 mpg combined.
