Starter or Ignition Switch?

I think my starter went out. I have a 2003 honda accord and a few weeks ago it would occasionally do this thing where when I turned the key it would click and I had to do it again and it would start right up. It only happened a few times but yesterday it wouldn't start at all. It won't even crank. All the lights come on, the windows and radio all work, but when I turn the key it just clicks. I think it's the starter but my dad mentioned the ignition switch. Any ideas?

First off get the battery tested. Then make sure the connections to the battery and the starter are clean and tight. Then a volt meter would help to check the voltage at the starter end of the battery cable. Don't forget to check the negative cable connections also. If all that checks out you're probably going to need the services of a mechanic to check the system. The click is indicative of low voltage to the starter. The lights still working doesn't mean the starter is getting enough voltage to work.

Clean the battery terminals.
often a low amp system can still get power but high amp situations fail. Buy a battery terminal cleaning tool. Remove negative first then positive clean them and reinstall positive first then negative ;last!
even if not corroded if the lead has turned a blackish color it won't carry the load.
