What are the main components that I should look into if I want to improve my trucks handling?

My truck is a 2003 Honda Element Ed awd and I found a website the ranks every possible sub category of what a vehicles strengths and weaknesses are. In this case, I'm concerned about having a safe me and more stable car so my concern is how can I increase my vehicles handling?

According to this site, my truck gets a 5/10 in the handling department. I'm aware that it's not a sports car and has slow acceleration(id consider just adequate) l. What will I have to upgrade in order to get my truck to be in the 6/10 tank for handling?
How about for 5/10 acceleration? What goals would I need to achieve to get that performance?

YOU Can't DO BETTER THAN THE HONDA ENGINEERS without spending a lot more money than you have Marc-the-Dumbass. If you had the money to improve it noticeably, you wouldn't own a 2003 Element. All you can and should do is bring it back to factory new specs using OEM or better components.

Buy a set of modest lowering springs, a matched set of larger sway bars, a set of slightly larger wheels and lower / wider tires and take a performance driving course.

First remove the following and throw in a dumpster:

Air bags.
Carpet.
Headliner.
Door panels.
Passenger seats.
Stereo/speakers.
Sound insulation.
A/C compressor and plumbing.
Battery.
Engine.
Spare tire/jack.

Now buy:

J35 engine. $2,000
J35 swap kit (if availible). $1,000
Lithium ion battery. $350
Coilovers. $1,000
Bushings. $300
Have custom swaybars fabbed: $3,000
Have custom subframe connectors/stiffeners fabbed. $3,000
Brake upgrade: $1500
Wheels/tires: $2000
Cage: $2000
Labor: $8,000

That's not a truck. Just drive it, keep the oil clean, air filter clean and glass clean. All that worry is just silly.
