What car is good for a college commuter student?
I'm going to college soon but, I'm commuting. Right now I drive a 2000 Honda Accord & I'm looking to buy something newer and better. I've been looking at older Jeep Grand Cherokees. Are they reliable and good cars for commuting? My school is only 45 mins away and I'm only driving there twice a week and my work is in my town. Do you think I should buy one? If not, what kind of cars should college students buy?
A Jeep is a step down from a Honda in reliability. Stick with what you have.

- What is a good car for a college student? This is my second year of college and finally going to buy a car! I'm 20 years old, turning 21 in august 11, 2015. I had my license for only a couple of months, like 3 months. Any recommendation? 350z? G35? Honda civic? Mazada 3? Anything that looks nice and appealing. Cheap to insure and pretty face. Thank you! I live in California, Los Angeles. I don't know why I typed pretty face. Just ignore.
- Is Honda Civic THE Best Car for College Student? I'm looking for a good, reliable, fuel eff. 4 cyl car for my daughter to start college with in the Fall. I'm looking at the Chevy Cobalt, Dodge Neon & The Civic. Which is THE best for a 19year old college student? My budget is $7,000 Max. Serious opinions only please!
- Recommendations for a reliable, good on gas college commuter that will hold its resale value? Need some advice. I just sold my mustang as it was not my idea of a good commuter car. I would like to go strictly good on gas and reliable. I'm thinking about the Honda Civic SI, Honda Accord or a Toyota Tacoma (I ride dirt bikes) Any other recommendations? The civic si seems fun, and they have an awesome aftermarket.
