What type of transmission fits in a automatic 2000 honda accord coupe vtec v6 f23 motor?
I heard either an h22 or h23 prelude transmission fits in this car but can anyone be more specific? And how much do these transmissions go for? Does The transmission have to be an automatic transmission? Are these trannys any good? What do I search for when looking for it?
On the transmission and might be hard to locate a white sticker it usually has four letters sometimes three letters and a number as in baxa or mpza these are only a few since there can be over fifty combinations Honda has over 124 transmissions everything must match if not you will have gear ratio problems and some might not even bolt to the back of the engine. And expensive to change over transmissions from auto to standard or the other way around. If you want rebuilt find local transmission shop at ATRA.COM for more info or car-part.com to find junkyard transmission. But find and get the sticker info

- What kind of MPGs can I expect with a 2002 Honda Civic Coupe EX with an automatic transmission? I know that Y/A is still good for this kind of information. I know that the car is about 300 pounds lighter than a sedan.
- 2000 Honda Civic EX Coupe: I have had a new motor recently put in my car? However it seems that when I go certain speeds on the highway (60-70) my car vibrates. Once I pass this speed (75) then it stops vibrating as long as I drive at 75 mph. Does this mean I need a timing/alternator belt? Or due I need a tune up. I'm due my 200k service in about 6,000 miles.
