When i don't step on the clutch i hear a strange noise anybody know what it is?
I have a 1999 honda accord manual with 185, xxx miles. When i'm driving and at a stop light waiting, i take my foot off the clutch and i hear like a blowing sound. When i push the clutch down it stops then when i take my foot off it blows again. I don't here the noise when i'm driving and i'm not pushing the clutch down, what could it be please help?
That's the sound of the clutch release bearing ( AKA the "throwout bearing") saying "Sayanara"… Replace As soon as possible.
- NEED GO CART CONVERTED FROM BELT CLUTCH TO CHAIN DRIVEN CLUTCH? I have a 2 seated carter go cart with a 5.5 Honda motor and is belt driven. I'm wanting to convert it to a chain driven system but need to know how. The frame is chain driven but the clutch is belt driven how do I convert the clutch to a chain drive system.

I'm curious as to how i go about this because i want to be the one to build my dream i don't currently have one or a specific year in mind but id also like to eventually swap out the stock 50cc for a gy6 150cc motor. - My 2014 Honda CRV makes a strange noise after starting? It happens about 30 seconds after starting the car and sounds like a buzzing/vibrating sound coming from the dash. Any idea what this could be? Does not sound to be coming from the engine compartment so I think it is something electronic happening in the dash and it only happens after we start the car. It typically only happens once. Any ideas? Thanks And the noise only lasts 2-3 seconds then goes away and doesn't happen again until I turn the car on again.
