Which is faster a naturally aspirated V6 or a 4 cylinder Turbo?

I have prices on good sedans such as the Maxima, TLX, and Chrysler 200S 2017

they are V6 and have at least 290-300 horsepower.

But my friend was telling me the Mazda 6, Honda Accord, Civic Type R Audi A4 are 4 cylinder Turbo's and are much faster than the V6. Is it true? Can it reach 0-60 in a matter of seconds? Will it be able to tow heavier stuff? Will my car slow down if I have obese passengers?

I think the Chrysler is faster

Naturally aspirated v6. Turbo engines are still not proven i have seen turbos blow up before they reach 200k miles.

There's no one answer that applies here. Some V6 engines are quite powerful while others are not. The same goes for I4 turbo-charged engines…

Then there are multiple other considerations to make such as the weight of the vehicle, the gearing, aerodynamics, etc. They all play a factor in a vehicle's performance numbers.

It is not that simple to say. V6 vs I4 and Turbo vs natural. And there's the size of the engine .in displacement, horsepower, and pounds of weight. Try them and see

Look at horsepower to weight ratio dumbass - that will tell you far more than v-6 normally aspirated vs I4 turbo.

A turbo 4 can be designed to be the equal of a V6, as you can see through Ford's big bet on their Ecoboost brand of engines, going so far as to put them in Mustangs.

BUT, you can't just pick a turbo 4 car out of a hat and expect that one to beat any V6 car.

You're not supposed to tow a trailer if your motor is turbocharged.

Just go online and look up 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times for the cars you are considering.

Yes they slow down when loaded. If you want your speed to be less affected by a heavy load then you need torque. Generally that means the larger engine.
