Are American cars better than foreign cars?
I need to know why do american cars most of the time only last til about 140,000 miles or so? Why do foreign cars go for 230k easy? I do realize that some American cars go for much longer then 140k, and some foreign cars don't go for long. But of the majority, American cars, do NOT last as long as foreign cars. Why? Is that bad engine parts used on American cars? Do foreign cars have different types of metal for the parts? Such as some of the Honda's have aluminum heads.
No, America makes their **** break down that way you have to always spend money and buy new **** all the time, foreign cars don't do that, well European cars just make all their **** super expensive and hard to replace, but Japanese is the best, where talking affordable cars here.
None are better or worse.
Traditionally, American cars have been easier to finance which leads to higher depreciation and attracting poor people who don't maintain them.
But an American car is in many ways better than many foreign cars because they are usually more simple with fewer things to break.
With manufacturers like Toyota and Volkswagen trying to increase market share by having long term low interest financing and leasing options, you'll see their retained values and reliability plummet as years go by.
Smoke more herb. Dude.
Any car regardless of make can last a very long time if you follow the required maintenance intervals. I've seen american made cars go for over 300000 miles and others that die at 70000. It all depends on the owner.
From the late 1970s until the 2000s, American cars were garbage. Now days, they are better and can compete with foreign cars for the most part.
Toyota, Nissan, and Honda did not become big names in the US for no reason. As detroit pumped out rebadged copies of low quality cars, people turned to cars that were decently built and ran well.
- Why gasoline better than diesel? Over 11.7 million cars sells gasoline than 2.9 million less selling diesel cars in the US But can't find diesel honda, Toyota, nissan, or other Asia cars.
- Why are American cars like Chevrolet have become so unreliable? Why do people always recommend a Toyota or Honda over American. I was thinking of buying a Chevy Malibu or Impala but people don't recommended due to being unreliable cars
- Is it better to sell Cheap cars or Expensive cars? As a car salesman? Some people would think cheap cars but people with bad credit get declined often. I know this because my credit sucks and i'm almost always declined for cars. I'm sure this makes it tougher to get a sale right? This has me thinking, i want to sell cars. Should selling luxury cars like mercedes and bmw be better than selling hondas and toyotas?
- Harley decals on the back of foreign cars/trucks? Has anyone else found it ironic that owners of Japanese cars have HD decals on their back windows? I often wonder why they don't put Honda, Toyota, Nissan, etc decals on the back of their Harleys.
