Can my car keep up with a Mazda 3? Explain?

My car is a 2003 Honda Element. It's a 4 speed auto with awd.

The Mazda is a 2006 Mazda 3 i with the 5 speed manual.

By looking the performance specs, the Honda makes 160 hp and the Mazda makes 145 hp.

Also the curb weight between these two cars are 3526 lb(Honda) and 2718 lbs(mazda3)

My question is, on a open highway such as an autobahn with some curves, can the Honda Element keep up with the Mazda 3 if the challenge was the keep up with it?

The 2006 Mazda 3 has a governor-limited top speed of 115 miles per hour and you've said before that you can't get your Element beyond 100 mph. So no.

But why are you even obsessed about this when you're nearly $10,000 dollars in debt on credit cards at 18 percent interest and only making 450 dollars per paycheck? It seems to me that your financial situation is more important than whether you can beat a Mazda 3 on the German Autobahn.
