1994 Honda Civic ex Coupe Over heating?

I just bought a 1994 honda civic radiator fan seems stuck and leaking water between radiator hose and thermostat. The reservoir water seems to be bubbling and steaming. I don't know much about cars. It's occasionally over heating as well.

Get the motor tested for a bad head gasket.

If the fan does not turn it will likely over heat going slow or idling but be cooler at driving speeds. There's a temperature sensor that turns the fan on to cool it or the fan could be gone. On some older cars if you unplug the sensor the fan will run steady and never turn off until the sensor is replaced. It may be on the lower side of the radiator but not sure on that car. Also check the cooling fan relay in the fuse panel and make sure the fan is not stuck and will turn if it started. Driving it over heating with cause expensive engine damage

Will the infiniti last me enough to enjoy it or will it just be a waste of money… Please help
  • Heating/AC Not Working '97 Civic? About a month ago I installed a new radio in to my '97 Honda Civic. Right after the install, both me heating and AC stopped working. The only thing that I'm able to do is adjust the level of air coming out. Any help would be very much appreciated. Ps. I'm not a car guy, so I know very little.
