2000 Honda Civic won't crank?

I have a 2000 Civic that will not start! The starter and relay will only click! I have replaced the starter (new not re-man) and made sure the battery is charged! I also grounded the starter straight to the battery to eliminate a ground issue! It will crank intermittently but then stops again.

If there's any aftermarket equipment installed remove it.

Check the cables to the starter for resistance. Should be less than.5 ohms.

Load test the battery.

STOP PLAYING Automotive Electrician…( groumding straight to the battery ).Battery voltage can BURN you real bad. + screw up your electrical system if you do something wrong…(Starter clicking.is a sign of a weak battery )

  • 83 honda magna won't crank? New batery. When i turn the key the lights come on. With the kickstand up and clutch in and the bike in neutral, when i push the start button my lights dim but there's no sound. The nutral light is coming on. I already tried bypassing the clutch sensor and i don't think the kickstand has a sensor. The batery is charged and when i jump it with my cars batery it has the same problem.
