2004 Honda Civic Lx bucking/jerking?
I have 159,110 miles on this car and out of no where its starts to buck. I first realized it going around 60 mph on cruise control and it would buck then the cruise control would disengage. Recently it starts to buck and jerk more often under load, at low rpms and speed. Its fine while idling but I noticed yesterday my rpm would move just a little bit while at idle but its not a lot. Mechanic did a battery test and it read good/low and told me that probably is the root of the problem but I really believe its my coils. I had one coil changed but my car wasn't bucking at all and also my car isn't throwing any code. Someone please help! Could it be bad gas?
Added (1). *One coil changed at the beginning of the year. Also had to replace my alternator twice.
Added (2). Spark plugs were changed also so it can't be those
Maybe your fuel pump can be bad. If the original one is still on try changing that my truck did the same thing besides the cruise control stuff.
Fuel pick up or oxygen sensor
- Which to get 2004 buick regal ls with 121000 miles or 2004 Hyundai sonata lx v6 with 130000 miles? I'm asking for advice from ppl who have own these 2 cars. - Honda Jazz Jerking / Power Cuts? Hi. 2008 honda jazs 1.4i LX 120000km. Sometimes in gear 2 and 3 while accelerating car loses power for one second. Its kinda jerking. I have changed the spark plugs but didn't help.
- Lost right front headlight and housing in recent accident for a 2004 Honda Civic. All bulbs intact? Complete housing destroyed including reflector. How much will it cost me to have it replaced at a body shop.
- I'm thinking of buying a 2004 Honda Civic with 90k miles for $6000. How are the repairs on this civic? I know the engine can last over 200000 miles or more but what about other repairs. I'm looking for a car that I can rely on and not spend too much time in the shop. My other option is a 2010 Hyundai Elentera with 43000 miles for $9000. I know the civic has a better resale value, but I'm looking for a car that I can keep the longest with the least repairs. I generally keep a car until I can't use it any longer or it gets to expensive to own.
