93 civic crank no start
We have a 93 Honda Civic 1.6L that was running just fine. It just started stalling on Us the other day. It took about 5-10 minutes to start back up. It ran for another 5 minutes then stalled again. My boyfriend replaced everything he can think of. Fuel pump fuel filter spark plugs new distributor wires. It still stalls. It has spark and fuel so we don't know what the issue is. Does anyone have an ideas?
I've got a idea. One of the two things you mentioned stops working. If you have no engine light then it is not a sensor. Could be anything from a faulty fuel pump relay to a loose connection on the ignition switch. Instead of boyfriend being a parts changer buy him a test light and the next time it shuts down leave the key on and test for power at the coil and fuel pump feed, it is one of those.
- How come my atv won't electric start but will crank if I push start it? 2006 Honda trx. Doesn't have a pull rope only electric start. The starter motor turns over the engine but just won't start but I'll push it down the yard with it in gear and it will fire right up. I'm so confused by this.
- Will a oil pressure sensor cause a 1999 honda civic not to crank if oil is low? While I was driving I noticed it wouldn't go any faster while I was going about 60mph but I felt the transmission spinning and the revs were high I then pulled over and put the car in Park and noticed the engine wasn't on Or Is it seized?
- No Crank, No Start Honda Civic 2005 Lx? My Civic has enough power for the headlights and dashboard to turn on, yet the engine will not start. Could it be a problem with fuse, alternator, or starter? Jump starting doesn't.
- I have a 99 Honda civic ex manual. And it does not crank? I have checked battery, starter, clutch safety switch, and put a new ignition switch and still dies not crank.
