95 Honda civic, just started to put and engine would shake every time I accelerate and when AC is on?
Yesterday my car drove perfect then today I started it and just when I got on the road it started to shake so I turned off the AC. Then it ran better but once I give it gas it starts to shake again, but if I'm not in gear I can rev it up and there's no shaking just sounds like it runs great. Anyone know what could be causing this problem?
The shake when giving gas is from wrong ignition timing, that happens when the ignition controler is defect, that needs a new ignition control module, costs $14.
- My honda activa has started losing mileage just after 2 k km - what should I do/check? Initially my activa was giving around 40 km/lit, in city conditions, but since last 100 km the mileage has dropped down to @ 25km/lit; also if the engine is left idling the speed drops and then the engine stalls/stops. Could it be a dirty carburettor or/and something else. I have not changed the grade of fuel or the petrol pump station. Also this has come to notice since my last free service, done in June'14. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
- 97 CBR 600 F3 shuts off every time I pull the clutch in? I have a 97 Honda Cbr 600 F3 that has been in the shop for 8 months every time I get it back the bike shuts off after 30 miles of riding it, it does this as soon as I pull in the clutch coming to a stop. That is until I lost compression in the motor and all but one cylinder stopped firing. Does anyone have any ideas as to what happened?
- Every time I stop to get gas in my 2003 Honda element, it has trouble starting? My car recently had a completely new engine put in and now when I get gas it takes a few tries to get it started. So I put a new battery in and now I have to put my foot on the gas pedal while starting it for it to start. But it's only when I stop to get gas this happens. Every time other than that it starts just fine, no problem at all. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on?
- Do leasing companies check your mileage every year or just st the end of the lease term? I was thinking about leasing a new Honda, but they only want to give me 12,000 miles per year. Is that the kind of thing they check every year or can I get away with driving more one year, as long as I keep my mileage low the next year?
