Any ideas on what could be wrong with my car? - 1
I own a 2008 Honda Civic. When I returned home after driving around for a while I turned my car off but once outside of the car it sounded as though it was still running. I tried turning my car on and turning it back off, but the sound continued. I left it thinking it would be okay. The next night I tried turning my car on it is completely dead. Any help on what it could be?
If you left your car running overnight then it probably ran out of gas and if the lights, ignition and all that were left on it also drained your battery. So, at the very least you have a dead battery now.
You probably have an ignition problem if you can't turn the car off. If you eventually do get the car back up and running and need to turn it off, switch the key to off while in gear with emergency brake on. The reverse torque should stall the engine. In any event, you need to bring it to an auto tech right away.

- Having some Honda problems any ideas? I was riding my 2006 crf 250r and it just had a top end rebuild and it was running fine for a while but I just took it out a couple days ago and after riding for about an hour the compression in the kickstart got really stiff and a couple times it backfired when I kick started it and I couldn't start if at all. Any ideas what it could be?
- I have a Honda GSV 190 mower engine with a broken starter rope and stud stuck in starter that I can't remove. Any ideas would be great When removing the nuts holding the recoil starter in place the nut on the front of the starter is stuck. When I try to remove it the whole stud come out of the engine. Leaving the engine cover stuck to the starter preventing me from replacing the rope. I have tried everything I can think of to remove it with no luck. - I have a Honda 1.4 sport 1999 reg and the revs keep going high but there's little power - any ideas? When i first start it its ok but after 15-20 minutes it starts to over rev and the power seems to drop. Any ideas on what could be causing it?
