Can i register a keyless entry remote to my honda civic 2012?
Some background.
I have a Honda Civic 2 door coup, 2012. The thing is it only has the engine keys and no keyless entry remote. Is there a way i can buy a sample key online then register it myself?
Assuming it has the keyless system in it (I can't find anything that says it is not standard) it appears you can. Check out the video.
Go to the dealer parts department and give them your VIN to look up if you have keyless entry.
If your car has it by the remote while there and have it programmed to the car.
- 2014 honda civic keyless remote programming? Ok so I guess I have 2 questions in 1. First is it possible to program a replacement keyless entry remote if I've never had one since I got the car? In other words there's no original id be programming the first one. And 2 is it possible to program the remotes from my 2003 honda pilot which I don't need anymore to my 2014 civic?
- What would be a better car a 2012 Honda Civic or a 2012 KIA Soul? I'm going to buy one of those cars and I want to know the best things about them both. What do you guys recommend.
- Can I replace my stock honda civic 03 steering wheel with one that belongs in a 2011 or 2012 honda civic? I would like to have the stereo controls on the steering wheel itself but the stock 03 steering wheel only has cruse control. I figure I will have to buy an adapter for stereo, I just want to know if It has the same mounting configuration and the air bags will work the same way.
