Can I replace the molding around my rear windshield without removing the glass?

My car is a 1999 Honda Civic 4dr and I think the molding around the rear windshield is too old and damaged that it leaks water, making it more foggy than usual. I want to know if the rubber molding can be replaced at home without special tools or removal of the glass.

Yes you can and if you go on youtube you could maybe find a how to video honda is a popular car there are many mechanics with how to videos on you tube and you can go to a automotive store and buy a tool to remove the molding.

Use pro.

You'd be time and money ahead to buy a new molding piece then have a professional windshield installer replace it for you.

Yes you can
