Can this be fixed (Car Body Work)?
I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX.
This happened to both my front and back bumper. The little hole where there's a screw that holds the bumper to the car just ripped. It happened to one side on the back bumper and to one side of the front bumper as well. Can it be fixed?
I wouldn't even mess with it. The easiest fix is to put a washer big enough to cover the damage and then re-attach it. If you can find a slightly larger screw along with the washer that will work better.
- Paying for Honda Loaner Car From Dealership while Paint Recall is Being Fixed? I'm going to be paying $33/day for (1 to 2 weeks) for a loaner car from my honda dealership while its away in the shop. Is there any flexibility in picking what car I want or do they automatically assign me a car. I feel like since i'm paying i should be able to pick what car I want, or even pay a little more for something nicer?
- My 2007 Honda Element has a mint body and interior and under 64,000 miles but due to its age it needs about 4k in work, here is the list New tires, front struts with dust boots and bump stops, rear shocks, alignment, water pump, universal belt, front lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends, timing side engine mount, rear brakes, flush and bleed the system and emergency brake adjustment. Should I do the work and keep it due to low miles and good eyeball condition?
- Honda crv startng to squeak again after being fixed last year? Someone told me to lubricate the rubber mounts I replaced in the back to reduce squeaking. It squeaks over bumps and gravel road. I have noticed its silent only on rainy days. If I do lubricate do I need to lift the car or can I just get under it and spray the lub?
- Just fixed a blown head gasket? It's a 1998 honda civic ex 1.6L vtec just basically got everything back together. Nervous to start it back up. Basically my question is how can I get the air bubbles out of my radiator if there's any. Just want to make sure the antifreeze is flowing correctly
