Can you put a V6 engine in a 4 cylinder 2003 honda civic?
How much would that cost?
A V6 Honda engine would almost certainly not fit in a Civic, there's no way to estimate any such custom work since my its nature is custom work.
Not without spending boat loads of money. Forget it.
Has been done, but unless you have some leet mechanical skillz yourself, it's going to cost more than just buying a faster car. (If you have to pay a shop to do it)
It's not a straight "drop in" and there's also the issues with cooling. Suspension, brakes etc as well, if you want the thing to actually drive reasonably. Getting the car certified as street legal will also be an issue in most places.
Anything can be done with money, Different engine, different transmission, different motor mounts and of course the computer, wiring and related items. My guess, 10k
Try a V8, its been done. Look it up.
Only those who done it can tell you how much it cost them.
- Can I unseize an honda 4 cylinder engine without removing engine What I want to do is remove oil pan.disconnecte pistons from crankshaft move them up and down individually. Whichever one is the hardest is going to be the one that needs replaced. Is this possible? Or does all pistons sieze at the same time?
- Can you put a SI spoiler on top of a Honda Civic lx deck lid Spolier? I want to put a spoiler on my 2006 honda civic Lx but the Si spoiler doesn't fit the same holes. Would it look right with the Si spolier and the original deck lid?
- Can I put a Honda 1.7L D17A, SOHC VTEC Engine in my 2002 Honda Civic DX? My civic is very basic without VTEC, This isn't it's original engine type as it had a regular 1.7L 4cyl SOHC but I know they are fairly similar. Will my car run on the VTEC?
- 4 cylinder vs 6 cylinder vs 8 cylinder vs 10 cylinder? Which is better to get? On small sized cars such as Honda Civic, Mitsubishi Lancer and Toyota Corolla you're stuck with 4 cylinder, since 6-cylinder is not available as the option What if I get v8 or v10 vehicles… Is there any problems?
