CHECK ENGINE LIGHT PROBLEM?
I have a Honda Civic 1994 model ESI.
When i turn the key ON the engine light is ON and won't turn off thats why i can't start my car.
What is the problem of my car?

- Check engine light, open door light, and batterie light all came on and won't go off? 2000 Honda Odyssey I already had the altinator replaced it a month old. The batterie almost a year old. Would the belt need be changed or something else?
- Honda CRV 2003-check engine light? My check engine light won't go off; it has only 40,000 miles on it (real mileage). I also bought a new gas cap--so that isn't it. Can't find my manual either. How do I reset it, I'm thinking it is for oil maintenance but that was changed 1500 miles ago. I'm trying to avoid a trip to the dealer. It runs great and the gauges don't indicate any problems--Thank you for any help you can give me.
- Is a Check Engine Light P1456 Code the same as P0456? I have a check engine light on my 2002 Honda Civic & scanned it with the diagnostic tool and the code came up P1456. The code booklet that came with the tool only has P0456. Is it the considered the same code? This is the diagnosis: very small evap emission control system leak. I will get a new gas cap and hopefully that will clear it but if not I will have to do a smoke test. But is the P1456 the same as P0456?
- Check engine light not going off on my 97 Honda Civic even after fixing problem? Cranking and starting my Civic made the check engine light come on and sputter and idle real bad. Figured it might be a bad fuel filter so I changed the thing and now it runs smoothly again but that check engine light is still on. Can there still a problem? Do i need to reset something to make the light go off?
