Civic si ep3. Is this radio console fixable?

I don't have this car. But if I get it I wanna know if this is an easy fix? It's a 2003 honda civic si (ep3)
Looks like an after-market head unit was installed using a Scosche HA1572B mounting kit. The mounting kit is either damaged, warped or not installed correctly. It looks like the original dash panel is probably intact. You can replace the kit, either with the same Scosche model or a Metra 99-7860. The Metra kit is black, not silver. Either way it should cost less than $20.
