Defroster in my 98 Honda Civic is out?
I press the button on my panel and the button lights up indicating that the windshield defroster is "on" however no air blows out the top of the dashboard. The air just continues to blow out the front facing vents. In fact, the floor directional and the floor/defrost don't work either. Air only blows out the front. I checked my fuses and none of them pertaining to the the RR/defrost or A/C unit is out. So my only thought is that there's a motor or something inside the dashboard that directs the airflow, and said motor needs to be repaired or fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Added (1). upon further research, I've discovered that it must be my "mode motor" that is not operational. Any help on where the motor is, and how to replace it?

There's likely a small motor that moves it from vents to floor and windshield. No sure on that exact car but if you put your head down by the gas pedal and look up towards the center of the dash it should be there. There's a wire plugged on it and it likely has a small bar that moves the door to direct the air. Make sure its connected or it may be burnt out. Looking up at it reach up and click the buttons to see if it moves
- Honda 1998 EX coupe Rain and defroster couldn't see yesterday? It was raining had yesterday and In the morning it was fine turning on both defrosters. I turned on the front then it got hot yes the window defroster for the front logo. But my front windows were so blurry like conjugation from the inside all foggy I couldn't see the rode while it was pouring. I got lost downtown and miss my exit due to this down the pier. I had to turn down my windows for it to clear. Need help thanks.

- My 2001 Honda Civic is overheating and I can't figure out why? I have replaced the radiator cap, coolant reservoir, and thermostat. Also, I check the fans at various times and everytime they are running fine. Lastly, I'm not sure if this information helps, but I live in southern Louisiana where it is almost always hot. I'm a poor 25 year old female college student and I have no idea what else to do.
