Have 1999 honda civic replaced radiator and thermostst gauge shows running hot?
Air in the system. There's a bleeder on top of the thermostat cap, open it while car is running, heat on full.
Did you run the motor for 20 minutes with the radiator cap off to get the air out of the cooling system?
- Will a 2000 Honda civic front bumper fit a 1999 civic I'm talking about a 1999 civic dx? I have a 99 I'm in need of a new front bumber and I'm looking on Craigslist and a found a 2000 civic front bumper that's dope and it's cheap so I'm asking if it would fit perfect or what adjustments would I have to make is it worth it pretty much thanks
- Does power steering fluid get hot if the car is just running and the steering isn't being used? If the pump is just spinning, recirculating fluid and nothing else… Would it still get hot? I had to bypass the pump from the rack and have the fluid recirculate. Would the pump get hot from just spinning? I know 8th gen Honda's don't have a cooler for the power steering anyways.
- Why could my 2000 Honda Civic show it's going to overheat I have coolant a new radiator a new radiator cap a new temp gauge switch and? A new thermostat head gasket is fine could it just need to flushed and a new water pump and timing belt

Having to check oil every day, losing coolant out if radiator cap which is also fairly new. My husband drives about 200 miles a day, at a constant speed car runs great at normal temps but in the afternoon on his way home as soon as he gets into stop and go traffic temp goes up.
