Honda Civic Alternator stuck?
I have a 2000 Honda Civic and I've loosened all the bolts I need to to remove the alternator belt, but the alternator itself won't move. Any tips on how to break it free so I can get that belt off?
It probably has a long, threaded "jack-bolt" that you need to back off an inch or two. It is through the fat metal body through which you loosened the adjustment pinch bolt.
- My Honda S2000 Clutch pedal thumps as I press down on it as if it gets stuck for a quick second. Why? I think it got worse, not when I try to Press all the way down on the gas on the free way to go fast, the RPMs shoot way faster and the MPH moves very very slowly? Any ideas?
- How to fix a stuck hood on a 2002 Honda Civic? My uncle went on a business trip and left his car at my house. I forgot to start the car for a few weeks and now the car is no longer starting. So, I tried to open the hood and jump-start the car. However, when I pulled on the hood opener on the driver's side, the hood seemed to be jammed. I need to find a way to get the hood open. If my uncle comes back and finds out that his car isn't working, i'm screwed. So, what should I do?

- Honda Civic 97 E-brake stuck. How do I fix/disengage it? I have an old honda civic and was looking around in it. The e-brake had almost never been used and so I lifted it to see if it worked. It worked, but when I released it, the brake light went off and when I tried to back up, The rear end rose and would not move. My fear is that something is rusted out and I'll need to replace it. Is there I way I can just disengage it permanently for I don't ever actually use it.
