Honda Civic LX brake light stays on?
So I own a 2001 Honda Civic LX & recently my brake light in the dashboard stays on even when the brake is down. I already took it to Brake Masters & even they couldn t find the problem! The guy suggested to disconnect the wire that connects to the brake cylinder to turn off the light but it still stayed on. He suggested that it might be a wire inside my car since nothing is wrong with anything by the cylinder.Supposedly by car doesn't respond to their machine that tells them where the problem will be. They said the brakes are fine.
I was just wondering if anyone has suggestions on what I can do? Or maybe where I can go?
Well I wouldn't go there anymore! They have obviously NOT mastered brakes yet!
Is the light red? Then it means either the park brake is on, the fluid level in the master cylinder is low, or the proportioning valve is out of whack.
Yellow light would indicate a problem with any part of an anti lock system.

- Check engine light, open door light, and batterie light all came on and won't go off? 2000 Honda Odyssey I already had the altinator replaced it a month old. The batterie almost a year old. Would the belt need be changed or something else?
- Brake light stays on Honda accord 1996? My son's honda accord (1996), 2.2 liter with cruise control, car brake lights have been staying on for weeks. The brake light switch is connected to the brake lever. Would adjusting the nut on the brake light switch solve the problem: if he changes the spacing between the switch and the brake lever?
