Honda Civic Vti 2009 model making whistle sound?

I have Honda civic vti 2009 model and its 5 years old (79 KM running). After my 70K servicing it started making a whistle sound as soon as I start the car and sound increases as I push the gas paddle. Went to the same service centre where I had my car serviced and after 4 visits their answer is that they can't diagnose as this could be outcome of few different reasons. Spent $500 for last service and thats ended up living with this very annoying sound. Wondering if anyone else has the same issue or know anything about.

Well, I guess forgot to add one important bit in my post that the noise starts as soon as I turn on engine and car is still stationery. This morning my mechanic spent 10 minutes try to analyse while asking me to keep pressing the gas paddle but couldn't figure out for his life.

  • On my 2014 honda rancher the rearend is making a clunking sound? It seams like its coming from the area where the drive shaft meets the casing it doesn't make the sound when I go fast it sounds like something loose what could it be?
  • Dirtbike engine making a clanking kinda sound? Its a honda crf100f, when, i start it, its fine, but when I go to rev it, and the rpms get higher, there's a metal sound in there, not really sure how to describe it, like a really fast vibration sorta, but its metal on metal, could low oil cause that? I haven't done an, oil change for 6 mobths but the oil is still clean in it and I forgot what kind of oil it took.
  • 2009 Honda Fit or 2009 Honda Civic? My grandma is getting a new car. She has had a black 1995 jetta for years now. She wants to get a honda. What would you think would be good for an old lady? Should it not be a honda?
  • Car is making a really soft hallow whistling sound, but only when idling Is this something that requires immediate attention? There's no performance issues but I'm wondering if it can snow ball into something worst. It's a 2004 honda civic 180, xxx miles
