How fast are these pepped up Honda Civics?

I always see, or hear these Honda Civics with loud engines that sound stupid. How fast are they generally? 0-60 MP/H or 0 to 100 km/h. I'm just wondering. Also, I think they're retarded unless they look nice. I saw one once that was super ugly, parts of the car had no paint on it and all rusty, had bright red rims, pepped up and one of those loud engines. I don't get it. I'd rather have a nice sounding engine that prrrs like a cat, not barking like a loud dog. My opinion. Went a bit off topic. Lol

You can make any car loud by modifying the exhaust, which doesn't make the car any quicker. Generally the ones you are talking about have a 0-60 time measured in minutes, but then again, that's most Hondas.

Same as the 50's and 60's, most cars made louder by kids are not any faster, while a precious few really are quick.

They arent. Most still have that old lil 4 banger some may have new this or that but they arent.

Civics have quiet engines, the ones that you saw/heard are modified.

A good rule of thumb is that loud cars are made loud because they are not fast.
