Is it possible to get a nice sound out of a civic?
I have a 2005 Honda Civic LX and I was just wondering if it was possible to get a nice clean sound out of it, or is it impossible and anything but the stock exhaust will sound like a cart cannon? I was just wondering out of curiosity.
Yes and no. I hate that buzzing noise!
Like Jay said: Sound is too subjective. So, keep your ears open for one that sounds good TO YOU, then see if you can ask the guy what parts he used to get it that way.
Get a full exhaust from where the headers connect all the way back of the car or if you just buy the end of the exhaust it will sound freaking bad and annoying

- Take a nice car to road test? I have my road test in 3 days and I have been practicing on 3 cars. My moms Honda Pilot, my car(hyundai Genesis), and my dads 2013 Maserati. I'm comfortable with all 3 of them. Should I take my dads maserati on the road test to get the instructor more lenient because it is a nice car or should I take a normal car?
- Transmission going out on friend's 2004 Impala. Is it possible to install a manual transmission taken from a 1992 Honda Civic in this car? Not worth replacing trans on a car this old, but the engine and everything else are still perfect. My friend was able to get a free manual trans from a 1992 Honda Civic. But i'm not sure whether or not you can use a trans from a different vehicle
- Speakers in car cut out at higher volumes? Sound is distorted? Ok so I have a 1997 Honda Civic that's in good shape but the sound is trash. Anytime the the music is at a low volume it sounds fine but at meduim or high volumes the sound is distorted. I thought the speakers were the problem so I replaced the ones on the door but it sounded a little bit better but really about the same. What do I need to have louder speakers without the distorted sound? A new head unit? A subwoofer? A new amplifier?
- What can I do to get out of financing a car I'm paying way too much for? And get into something cheaper? I'm financing a 2010 Honda Accord for 473 Dollars a month. I still owe 19K on the vehicle and its only worh 11.5 K. Sounds like i'm pretty ******, huh? Anyways what can I do to end this finance term and get myself something cheaper without destroying my credit?
