Is it worth it to buy a 2003 honda civic LX with 194000 km?

FWD for $3000? The batteries been replaced in 2014. I'm looking for something fuel efficient and inexpensive to maintain because I'm still going to school.

Depends on it's condition. As long it has complete service reports and you conduct a pre-purchase inspection by a mechanic it's a good deal. Make sure it's not rebuilt
Generally speaking, 193000km is nothing to a Honda, they're generally reliable cars, but like I said, condition > kms

With that high mileage you would be buying scrap; do look for a lower, much lower mileage car and especially one that has not been used in a city as the wear on its parts would be less.

Sure, the mileage should not be a concern at all. Honda's are built to last, and this one is only about half way done. The price is reasonable as well. However, only consider it for purchase if the seller can provide proof of it's service and maintenance history.
