Is my 2008 Honda Civic LX fast?
Horsepower: 140 HP at 6,300 RPM
Torque: 128 ft-lbs at 4,300 RPM
4 Cylinder
1.8L iVTEC SOHC
Is my civic fast? I'm not trying to race or anything, I'm just curious if it's considered decent or fast or not anything special?
And can you feel the VTEC kick in at all? I heard only the DOHC VTEC is what's you want, at least from what my friends say.
Any who, just wanted some help is all.
Honda Civics are transportation devices with excellent fuel economy when driven as such. No, the 2008 Honda Civic LS with 140 HP is not a "fast car." I have a 180 HP turbo car and it is not considered a fast car either. Just enjoy what you have. I do.
It's quick for a small car. Quicker than many, but not as quick as a WRX, GTI, SI, etc. I have a 2006 Accord coupe, 6 cylinder, 6 speed. 244 HP. It's fast.
VTEC has to do with the valve timing and lift. It is not something that "kicks in." It is always working, and it's purpose is to increase combustion efficiency.
And yes, a Dual Overhead Cam(DOHC) is better than a Single Overhead Cam(SOHC)
Anything that's a Honda is slow
- What is the minimum amount of times should I operate the 2008 Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle if I operate the 2008 Honda? CBR600RR super sport motorcycle in New York City and park the 2008 Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle in New York City?
- Do I need to only start the 2008 CBR600RR or do I need to operate and ride the 2008 Honda CBR600RR super sport to destinations? I was wondering about during times when the 2008 Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle is in storage, especially during cold winter temperatures.
- Should I buy a 2008 honda civic ex-l that has 100000 miles or a honda civic lx that has 82k miles? The honda civic ex-l has only one owner and the honda civic lx is from a dealer. They're fairly the same price
- PARKED CAR, can anyone estimate how fast he had to be going to total my 2018 Honda Civic EX-T? https://drive.google.com/...I5OWxHdmo4 https://drive.google.com/...l5bVh5VVQ4
