Is there anyway I could get my jeep back?
I traded my jeep for a Honda Civic, worst decision in my life. The Civic had a bad title it was signed in the wrong spot and usually you need a bill of sale to prove that it was… Well the guy who I bought it from blocked me on everything. Recently as of yesterday he posted my jeep for sale using a new account… I was tagged in the post and after that he deleted the comments then deleted the post all together. Is there anything I can do to get my jeep back? I never told DMV I sold it
You probably bought a stolen vehicle. He now has a "not quite so stolen" Jeep to sell.
You should talk to the cops, now. Do not delay. You have done everything wrong up to this point. Talk to the cops so you don't make it worse.
Worse? Yes, if the Civic was stolen, you are now a "receiver of stolen property."
A) It's "any way", not "anyway" which has a different meaning.
b) Get a lawyer
c) Trading titles was a STUPID thing to do especially without executing a proper written agreement.
If you signed the title its not your Jeep anymore. You could buy it back the same as anyone else. If the Civic title wasn't in order you should have never accepted it. You willingly put yourself in this situation.
You made a convoluted deal and you didn't do your homework So you are stuck with it.
DMV has nothing to do with it.
It's a sad story, but nothing we can do about it.
Live and learn from your mistakes.
- What if I do not pay back my title loan back on my motorcycle because ir was stolen? I got a title loan in the amount of 400.00 for my 2014 Honda Grom motorcycle. I have made three minimum payments of 125.00 but I still owe around 400.00 because of the high intereat. My motorcycle was stolen from my house, it is time for another payment ans the lender is blowing my phone up. They are threatening repossession but if thats all they can do then i'm not gonna pay it becUse i don't even have it right?
- We have a 2006 Honda CBR. When you drive it, there's a loud whirring noise coming the back underneath side. What could cause that noise? The noise is situated around a CV boot on the left underneath side where the differential connects to the middle.
- Is there anyway to add a motercycle compartment to a volkswagen van? I'm planning a cross country trip in the future with a '73 Volkswagen van. It runs well but I wouldn't want to take it on rough roads so I was thinking about taking my bike with me on the road. It's a 2003 Honda rebel, 250cc. I was wondering if there was anything I could add to my van so I could take my bike with me. Anything helps, thanks.
